The automatic range significantly reduces the measuring time. When measuring values ​​that have not been estimated previously, in a traditional universal electric meter, take measurements sequentially from the largest range up to the range that gives the most accurate result - otherwise, you risk damaging the multimeter. However, in the case of the YT-73086 multimeter, it is enough to take one measurement, the meter will automatically find the optimal range.
In addition, this digital meter allows you to measure the temperature, which is particularly useful when detecting faulty components in electrical installations (increased resistance of e.g. a damaged cable causes the component to heat up).
